Mortal Parent: Garrick Newman - Riley's father was a rather handsome and attractive man, which earned him the attention from Aphrodite. The two eventually started to date, then fall in love, and gave birth to Riley in the process.
Personality: Riley has a really complex personality. Often, she could be described as friendly, socially active, sympathetic, sweet, lovable and very bold, for that matter. When she's in a bad mood, she is often rude, mean, uncaring, goes from an open book to a closed book, rejecting everything in the outside world. Same goes for when she's in combat, save for the rejecting personality. She becomes even colder on the battlefield, but balance it by being very optimistic. She also falls into crushes very easily, usually one week or so (being a daughter of Aphrodite) Often, she wears bright colored clothing, comprises mostly of jeans, t-shirts (mostly the CHB t-shirt). Riley, unlike most Aphrodite kids, do not have anyone that she admires. No pop stars, no celebrities, nothing. She prefers a good book, and is somewhat intelligent (inherited from her father) And that also means all she does is reading books in her spare time. Occasionally, she watches Supernatural, Sherlock, Star Trek or The Walking Dead.
History: Riley grew up under the care of her father Garrick. He was being fairly kind toward her, treating her like she was priceless. She went to private schools, and had a good relationship toward everybody. When she was 11, a Cyclop attempted to kill her at school, guising itself as a janitor. At first it attempted to kill Riley by pinning her down quickly, by kicking the tables st her so that she gets stuck, but fortunately for her, she dodged it. She ran outside of the hall and was unfortunately pinned to the ground quickly. Just as it was about to kill her, a satyr appeared, raising it's crossbow with Celestial bronze arrows loaded and shot the creature through the throat, returning it to dust instantly. Panicking, Riley was then immediately taken home, and to her surprise, her father was aware of this ever since her birth. He decided to send her to Camp before any more incidents happened. Eventually, she made it to Camp safely, in one piece. From that point on, she goes to Camp Half-Blood every summer, then returns home every winter til' the next summer for school. Sometimes she returns to Camp if she gets a day-off at school.
Weapons: Riley wields a Celestial bronze sword, that can shrink back until it's hilt remains, and then grow back, with a simple flick of the ruby that was on the bright oak wood side of the hilt. To clarify, her sword's hilt is made out of oak wood, but one was painted with a bright brown color, whilst the other was painted with a dark brown so that it is distinguishable. Basically, the ruby on the bright side shrinks/extends the sword while the other would make the blade burst into flames and reverse. (which is a magic flame that has no effect on the sword whatsoever, like melting it, setting it on fire or rusting it)
Abilities: Amokinesis: basically it's the ability to control an affection of one toward another: it is temporary, lasts for 3 posts.
